Pink Floral Maxi Dress | Tosave

6/03/2018 12:26:00 pm

Hey all

I'm back here with a collaboration with Tosave!

I got a couple of clothing items from Tosave and am quite excited to share this experience with you guys!
I have the choice to choose anything fashion and/or beauty related from Tosave within a $15 budget. Hence, it's a challenge, that I'm willing to take! Cause I want a good quality item with a low price.

The first product is this Pink Floral Maxi Dress. First of all, I always wanted to try and pull off a maxi dress look, cause I can never do it due to my height. I'm only about 5'3", and dresses designed and made from the Western brands will cater to women who are much taller than me. So, I decided to take this chance and try it on.

After a month of waiting, the products finally arrived and it is my turn to review and give you guys my first impressions.

First impression:
1. The material was more silky than I expected. It stated on the website that it is cotton blend. But it feels like pajamas, so silky and smooth, also very cooling. It is the type of material that doesn't wrinkle that easily.
2. The dress is a tad bigger than what I expected, hence it doesn't fit me well. It is really lose on the waist and the dress touches the floor when I stand.
3. The dress has pockets! Such a plus! But the pocket is quite shallow, so I don't see any use of putting things in, cause there might be a high chance of it dropping out.
4. The overall of the dress is quite nice, I quite like it and it is really comfortable to wear, perfect for the spring and summer weather. But because of the shiny, silky material of the dress, I'm not entirely sure if I would wear it out of not.

I created a couple of styles on how I would style this dress, and my personal favourite will be with the belt and the floppy hat for a nice cool spring day.
Had to wear a belt to create a smaller waist. And to create a look that it fits me.
Somehow I feel taller in these pictures with the maxi dress, interesting. Cause I was so scared it will just swallow me up and become very overwhelming on me. And then I'll just look like a short dwarf covered with tons of fabric 😂
Next, for a more night life style, I dressed it up with a leather jacket that I got from Uniqlo. Love the jacket! And it is still comfortable to wear around and walk about for the entire night too.
It is also a perfect dress for a nice cozy night in. Just pair it with a knitted cardigan and some socks, grab a book with a cup of hot chocolate and chill with your pup! Comfy nights in!

My 2nd item I got from Tosave is a White Lace Tank Top. The lace is a bit flimsy, it just falls down when wearing it. The material itself is also very sheer. And it is also a bit tight on me. Which is why I did not take a picture of me wearing the top.
The top is only around $3, which is why I'm not expecting much for its quality. If the lace and the material of the top is better, I would definitely wear it out with a jacket or a cardigan over it.
Now, I think I would just wear it as a inner wear for a little lace peaking out of my (over exposed) top (if I ever have one).

These are my little small review and lookbook on how I would style the maxi dress and the tank top.

Till next time!

Strapless Bra that Supports Your Bust! | Upbra Review

1/30/2018 10:49:00 am

Hey all!

Happy 2018!!

I do notice that it's almost the end of January 2018.

This post was suppose to be posted last year, but all of my time was used up with my family and friends throughout the summer holidays. I still have last year's trips that I went, and nope I do not have the time to organised through everything.

But, lucky you! I have free time from work, so I might have the time to start writing again.

Anywayyyy

There's really no point for me to say sorry for being late again cause of my busy life outside of blogging. But, that would be my reason once again.

Life has been busy as usual. And I finally have the time to sit and give a review on a couple of products that I was given.

So this was how it happened.
One day, I received an email, and in the email the company was asking me to review their product. In my head, I was like fun! That would be an honour and I couldn't wait! So (let's skip the boring details) and I finally received my products.

Firstly, I do want to apologised with the company, because of my busy schedule, I couldn't write this review on time.

I was given the opportunity to test and review two products from Upbra. Upbra aims to give women the perfect adjustable lift-up and cleavage bra. The results from many women said that Upbra bras provide support, enhance cleavage and stability that will last throughout the whole day! Amazing!

When I read about their products, I do want to reject this amazing offer, because I am not aiming for any lift, I do have a bigger bust comparing to an average Asian woman. Thus, I do not need nor desire to enhance any cleavage nor lift up.

But, as I was researching about their products, Upbra's bras also claims to provide support even for strapless bras. Now, this is interesting to me, as I do have a bigger bust, most strapless bras could not provide me any support at all. They kept on falling down, and I have to keep on readjusting the bra. That's why I gave up on strapless bras, which leads to me not wearing any off shoulder tops or dresses or sleeveless tops.

As Upbra's strapless bra sparks my interest, I decided to go for it. I received their Strapless Bra in nude colour and their best-seller Convertible Bra in the colour black.

Here's my experience with these bras.
I tried the Strapless bra first, as it was the one that caught my attention first. When I wore it, it definitely have more padding than what I expected, and I am not use to so much padding. In the beginning it is kind of uncomfortable for me, I have to keep on adjusting until I am kind of comfortable in it, but not 100% comfortable. The cup was a tad bit bigger when I wore it and everywhere just seems wrong. My first impression of this bra was uncomfortable and it doesn't fit me right. I was disappointed.

Then, giving the bra a second chance, I tried it again with a off shoulder top that I recently purchased. I hooked on their amazing bra feature, which is their cleavage control straps, which is connected with the bra cups, and move enhance my bust upwards and inward for a slight natural lift. The cups fit better and it fits perfectly.

Also, it have an extended hook system (4 hooks in total), and I also hook on the 2nd hook to make it a tad bit tighter. Since then, the bra snuggled on perfectly well. I can move around without worrying about my bra was going to fall off, and it feels comfortable enough for me to go out and about for the whole afternoon.

The bra is designed specially with formulated vinyl on the insides of the cups in helping to grip your bust better and provide extra support. I love this feature and it really does its job. It doesn't feel uncomfortable, it just feels like you are wearing a normal bra.

Once it fits perfectly, I went out to give them a try! It was a hot humid summer day here in Australia. I  was sweating all day in the heat. Took some nice pictures just to show that I am comfortable in this strapless bra and !!miraculously!! I can move all around comfortably without any worries. I had the confident to wear an off-shoulder top and just walk around freely! It was amazing and my bra stayed intact through out the whole day!

The Convertible Bra also have the similar features with the Strapless bra and I like it as a bra itself too. The amazing feature for this bra is that it cannot be strapless, but it can convert into all kinds of looks that I need for a bra! It is definitely amazing how many looks it can convert into. I felt supported and comfortable in them. Though I started with a not so good experience, in the end, it was a great outcome and I do recommend everyone to have a try!

There is a slight downside for these bras, as they have thicker cups that contain with padding, Sweat can be seen collected on the bra cups after a whole day out and about, but it is what it is. I think just wash it after and wearing them, before it smells and become gross. You don't want that to happen.

It is nice to be back and I hope to be back more often! This year is going to be hectic as I will be travelling a lot and it is also my final year in uni! (OMG TIME FLIES!) But all in all, I will never abandon my "readers"  (if you guys are still around).
Have a great 2018! Start the year with a smile.

And if you guys are interested in purchasing Upbra products!

Althea

Base Makeup Box Review│Althea Box

1/31/2017 11:27:00 am

Hey girls!

Finally another post right?
It's been a while.
This post took me quite longer than I thought to try out every product.
And also with CNY and doing my internship this month. The whole month has been busy.
But I did it! (With some help of my friends too)

So, I received a 'Base Makeup Box' from Althea to try out and do a review on it.

What's an Althea Box?
They're curated specially by the Althea Korean Team back in Seoul. Each month, Althea will release 3 beauty boxes for fans to try. They're limited edition and limited in stock, which makes them a "SOLD OUT" Item on Althea. The prices are a steal as all items found in the beauty boxes are FULL SIZE items.
Unlike the conventional beauty boxes where you have to subscribe (and pay). Althea Boxes comes with no subscription fees and no surprises (heart attacks). Buy if you like what you see! Wait for the delivery 10 - 15 working days and unbox it!

In this box, there's 8 products in total.
I felt really blessed and grateful that I was chosen to be one of the bloggers to review this product.
Products:
1. Witch's Pouch: Stripe Pouch
2. Mamonde: Flower Essential Mask - Rose Moisturising
3. Secretkey: Natural Daily Pure Sunstick
4. Milkydress: Tril Beige Silky Velvet Primer
5. Aritaum: Real Ampoule Color Corrector - Purple Beige, Peach Beige, Mint Beige
6. Witch's Pouch: Triple Cover Glow Foundation - #23 Triple Natural
7. A Concept: Concealer
8. A Concept: All-in-one Brightening A: Cushion -#23 Natural Beige

These 8 products are your essential for your base makeup.

Witch's Pouch: Stripe Pouch
This pouch is able to keep all these items inside and still have a bit of space left.
Perfect for travelling and you don't have to worry that you can't fit in all your makeup products.
Althea is well-known for its pretty well designed box with the products inside.
The design also changes with the holidays/ seasons.
The box that I received is their new Christmas design.
In light blue with snowflakes and snow all around the box.
Simple and very pretty.

Mamonde: Flower Essential Mask - Rose Moisturising
The Rose Mask is very very moisturising.
After I used the product, my skin feels so soft and I just couldn't stop touching it. (which is a bad thing).
But, it feels so soft and moisturise.
I would definitely recommend it.
I really need to be more hard working to put on masks and take good care of my skin.
This is also me wearing the products on my face, look at that result.
Secretkey: Natural Daily Pure Sunstick
It's my first time seeing a stick sunblock.
When I opened it I was 'How do I use this?'
It have a scent to it, I don't personally like it that much. Smells like medicine in a way.
Contains SPA 50+, PA+++
Apply it evenly after your moisturiser and before any makeup products.
Apply it on places with high exposure with UV rays such as your face.
The product is like a thick balm and is sticky, though it stayed all day long.
I went for a swim, and I can still feel the product on my skin. And gave me a sense of relive.
Though it is a small product, I would use it for travelling more than an everyday use product.
I personally would not reach it when I do my everyday makeup.
Milkydress: Tril Beige Silky Velvet Primer
This primer is just like what it says on the tube.
It's like a tinted moisturiser. But it will fill up your pores and keep your skin clean, clear and oil-free all day.
With my oily skin, it does control my pores before my face gets oily again.
Use it as a base before putting any foundation or BB creams.
Aritaum: Real Ampoule Color Corrector - Purple Beige, Peach Beige, Mint Beige
Colour correcting became a  trend not only in the western beauty culture but also in the eastern side.
This is my first ever colour correcting concealer.
It is to conceals and corrects redness and dark circles.
Use it before your BB cream, after your primer.
The product have the ability to neutralise the discolouration of appearance using complementary colours.
Mint Beige: to neutralise the redness on your skin.
Peach Beige: Brightens the dark circle areas.
Purple Beige: Cover your dull and yellow skin tone.

It is the first ampoule that have 40% of moisture.
**For the first time using, press on the top longer or 30 times for the product to come out.
The colour itself is very opaque, and have to blend it out, but the outcome will shock you.
And you will love it, just like I do.
Witch's Pouch: Triple Cover Glow Foundation - #23 Triple Natural
Foundation is not really on my street, but I always wanted one because of its high coverage.
And I can wear it for events or dinners.
With this foundation, I do say that it doesn't dry out my skin.
My skin looks brighter and with its high coverage my skin looks so smooth.
It contains moisture coating Vitamin B from royal jelly strengthen the immunity of your skin.
**Palmed the bottom of the product to make the pumping easier.
A Concept: Concealer
The concealer is not such a great product.
I put it on after I apply my BB cream and blend it out.
With my oily skin the product disappeared in just one hour.
The product is creamy, and I was so excited to use it.
But it doesn't go well with my skin type.
It might be good with other types of skin.
The product will not only conceals but also brightens up the area.
So places like the T-zone, pimples, dark spots and wrinkle areas are the optimal areas.
It's a small product also perfect for travelling.
A Concept: All-in-one Brightening A: Cushion -#23 Natural Beige
The case itself is not really as high quality compare to Laneige.
It's not as smooth to open it.
The puff itself is also harder than the Laneige's puff. I prefer the A Concept's puff, as I can have more control over it.
The product itself is a light BB cream. Light coverage but build-able.
It have a light scent, but you will get use to it quite fast.
I had my friend to try with her dry skin. It stayed on for a whole day.
While I have oily skin, it stayed on for a good half day before I have to reapply again.
The cushion pact have triple functionality of whitening, wrinkle care and sun protection with SPF 35, PA+++.
With the content of Aloe Barbedensis Leaf Extract will bring your skin a tone lighter finish.
It have a matte finish which is a plus! Best part is that is not sticky at all after applying.
I would recommend to use it as an everyday product.
Due to its overwhelming responds, this box is now sold out in Althea.
But be on a look out for other boxes with many different kinds of products.
Check it out here.
Hope that you guys like this post.
I will try to update as much as possible (though I say it in every post)
In 2 more weeks my internship is done, so by then I'll be more free.
Till then.

KOSÉ SEKKISEI Special Edition Trial Kit Review

3/04/2016 02:04:00 pm

Hi Hi Gals!!! =D

Let's just get straight to the point, shall we?
I received a bag of Kose Sekkisei Special Edition Trial Kit for me to try it out!
And here is my opinion on these products! =)
Check it out!

The SEKKISEI Trial Kit includes these following products (from left to right):

  • Bihadagoyomi Mask (3pcs)
  • SEKKISEI White Liquid Wash (20ml)
  • SEKKISEI Lotion (100ml)
  • SEKKISEI Emulsion (70ml)
  • SEKKISEI Clear Whitening Mask (10g)
  • Exclusive Setsuko pouch (Kimono Style or City Chic Style)

Before I start, let me share with you all about KOSÉ SEKKISEI.
SEKKISEI products are designed and made to restore translucence to women’s skin for over 30 years!

Specially-designed for skin translucency, SEKKISEI products harness the power of Oriental Herb extracts, which are carefully-selected from about 100 different plants, creating a harmonious and skin-loving formula that gives women brighter, even-toned and moisturised skin.
it!

A trio of oriental plant extracts: Coix Seed (Chinese Pearl Barley), Melothria (White Lotus) and Angelica work diligently to keep your skin in perfect condition, protected from the harsh environment.

Fall in love with 5 star products from SEKKISEI this year, which come together in its special edition trial kit! Perfect for first time users who wants to experience the difference in SEKKISEI products themselves!

SEKKISEI White Liquid Wash (140ml/ RM131.40)
Cleanse skin without stripping away moisture. Taurine-based cleansing agents leave skin clean and hydrated; while Rubus Suavissmus Extract enhance skin dullness and soothes UV damage. Skin is restored to its optimal condition, ready for the next skin step!

How to use: Dispense 1 to 2 pumps onto your palm and add water then gently rub both palms together until lather is formed. Massage the lather onto face then wash it off thoroughly.
Verdict: I like the slight flowery scent in this product, not too much for my sensitive skin. And also it is really easy to use, it really does on what it said on the product description. It doesn't dry out my skin, and it feel really refreshing after washing it out!

SEKKISEI Lotion (200ml/ RM180.20 | 360ml/ RM275.60)
Bestseller!
It's has been rated in the top 10 skin care products in almost every beauty website and magazine!

It contains ingredients carefully-selected out of 100 types of oriental plants.
Used as a toner or a mask, the fine-textured hydrating lotion balances out skin’s moisture levels, prevents dullness, soothes redness and more.

How to use:  Pour lotion generously onto a cotton pad and pat gently on face.
Verdict: There's a strong alcohol scent to it. So, my poor sensitive skin reacted quick! It became red really fast due to the alcohol. So I do recommend not to use it, if you have sensitive skin like I do.

SEKKISEI Emulsion (140ml/RM191.80)
This quick-absorbing moisturiser works deep into skin, preventing freckles, dark spots and dryness.
Ingredients like Inula Britanica Flower, Chinese Pearl Barley, Paeonia Albiflora Root, Melothria Heterophylla and Angelica reveal a more translucent complexion.

How to use: Apply 1 to 2 pumps on a cotton pad and sweep over skin.
Verdict: It's a bit oily for me, especially on my T-zone. Then it starts to itch because of my also sensitive skin. (So sad having combination skin) On the plus side, my skin does absorbs really quickly, just like what it said. But I think is too heavy for us oily and in addition of sensitive skin!

SEKKISEI Clear Whitening Mask (80g/RM94.30)
A gentle peel-off mask that removes dullness and dead skin cells, brightens and hydrates at the same time!
Chinese Quince extract inhibits sebum production, while a blend of oriental plant extracts deliver supreme whitening benefits.
Nano-sized black powder allows the mask to spread easily.

How to use: Spread it across your face (avoid eyes, eyebrows, hairline, & lips area). Once it's dry, gently peel it off inwards from the outer areas of your face.
Verdict: Whenever I hear about peel off masks, it just doesn't appeal to me. Cause whenever the mask is dry and I have to peel off the mask, it just makes my skin red. So I rather use a clay mask or a sheet mask, so that it doesn't irritate my skin. But this mask is gentle enough to not make my skin become too red, ( there's a bit of redness, but not as much as other products), plus it helps to remove my sebum and also some blackheads out easily and effectively!

Bihadagoyomi Mask
It is a compressed dry mask sheet that works perfectly with the SEKKISEI Lotion.
It gives instant hydration for our skin.

How to use: Place a bihadagoyomi mask into the cap and pour SEKKISEI Lotion until the mask tablet puffs up. Place on face for 10 minutes and notice instantly hydrated skin!

*Sorry for no pictures, had no time to take them cause I was busy with some personal matters

Verdict: I find this mask so cool and fascinating! It's just so unique! I mean is as small as a pill, then after soaking it with the lotion if just puff up!
Tip: Might want to put lesser amount of lotion especially for sensitive skin like me, due to the strong alcohol from the lotion!
After it puffs up, it became a sheet mask (like the one we normally get from the stores, it's much thinner, but it's still strong enough to not be rip apart) and it works great for me. Secondly it says it's for instant hydration! My skin feels really hydrated and amazing! I do recommend for you guys to try it out, especially if you guys need a extra boost of moisture for your skin :)

Overall View:
I find this kit is perfect for beginners to try the products out. So yes, do give it a go! =)
Also, the trial kit comes with a Setsuko pouch that can be choose from two designs which are the Kimono style or Chic style.
Both designs I find it cute and the size is just perfect enough to bring it out for travelling!

SEKKISEI trial kit (RM99/pack) (GST included)
Kimono Style
Chic Style

In addition! Yes there's some more!
If you are a huge fan of KOSÉ SEKKISEI products!
This might be perfect for you!
This is a one-of-a-kind SEKKISEI Sakura designed edition of your product!

SEKKISEI Lotion Sakura Design (500ml/RM331.70)
SEKKISEI Kit Sakura Design (Lotion 140ml, Emulsion 70ml, Lotion Mask 1pc/RM150)

Soap & Glory: Flake Away Review

11/28/2015 03:12:00 pm

Hi Hi Guys!!!

I wanted to write my own personal thoughts on this product for a longest time ever!
And now here I am finally doing it!

This is my first ever Soap & Glory product that I had ever purchased.
Bought the Soap & Glory: Flake Away!
It's a body scrub for our body, and I wanted to exfoliate all the dead skins on my body for my school's Gala Night during July.
You know, you wanna look your best on that night.

Bought the mini version of the product, so that I can try it out.
Like I said before, this is my first product from Soap & Glory, so I want to try it out first.
Don't wanna waste my money when I hated the product.
There's two scents from Soap & Glory body scrub.
There's a sweet kind of scent and another is a salty kind of scent.
So it means one was made from a sugar based and another is from a salt based.

I love the sweeter scent more, so that's why I bought the Flake Away.
How do I Scrub Thee?
Apply onto Damp Skin and Massage in Circular Motions until Most of the Grains are Gone.
Rinse Well!
It's made from:-
Shea Butter
Sugar
Peach Seed
As you can see I used up half of the tub already.
I only use it once a week of maybe once in two weeks.
I really really love the scent!
It's sweet and it will linger on after you shower, so it feels like you are wearing perfume but actually you are not.
Does it work?
Yes definitely!
My skin feels so much softer after I use it every time.
It is as soft as a baby's skin.
And it will be really addicting to touch it!

I do recommend you all to try it out for sure.
Choose the own scent of your own choice, well I like this sugar based one much more.
Everyone have their own taste. =)
Do tell me what other brands of body scrub you use.
I would love to give it a try too.

Family

Fast & Furious 7

4/08/2015 08:40:00 pm

Hey guys!! =D

Happy to be back with a more better and longer post!
So just to keep you guys up to date before we get into the post, I was busy with school.
Understandable? Yea.. So I'm sorry that I only update both short post in 2 weeks.
I was so busy that I couldn't find any time to scroll through my social media, and I could just count it all in one hand.
And that's how busy I was, assignments after assignments and after assignments!
I mean, we all need to work hard to get good grades right?
And I'm trying my best to balance things out for school and here and my personal life. =D
I'm happy that I have friends around me, awesome friends to be exact, to help me through this two busy weeks.
Thank you!

And to celebrate the end of my assignments days, I went out with my parents being the third wheel of course, and watch Fast & Furious 7!!

Everyone was anticipating for this movie especially after the late Paul Walker passed away, made the movie even more well known that even my mom wanted to go watch the movie.
And this is rare for my mom to go and watch an action film. Or I could say a 'boy' movie. =P
I have to admit that I never watch the Fast and Furious 1 to 6.
Nope, never!
Cause I don't know, watching speeding cars is boring some times. =/

But then I went anyway because I want to watch for one person - Paul Walker.
Yea, I know right *sarcasm whao!*
But it's the truth here, I wanna know how they CG, which part they CG and their stunts.
After I came out from the cinema, I was: yup, this is a good movie, a very good one to be exact! But I still won't go and watch back all the 6 movies.

Scenes in the movie are great, a PG18 movie which I don't even know why they have it.
Nothing gruesome or very annoying vulgarity. So I don't find it why it needs a PG18, but hey this is Malaysia, which bans Fifty Shades in the cinema.

Stunts they did are just shocking and just mind blown.
Before I watch the movie, I saw the news saying that the air plane stunts, where the cars coming down from the sky is real!
My mind just couldn't connect how awesome and cool and brave they are!
I also read that they crashed and used 230 cars in total. I'm just speechless!
But I'm sure that this movie will go way beyond than everyone expected, cause it did for me. =)

Lastly, the last scene in the movie is the most heart breaking scene ever!!
My friend and my brother did warn me about this, but the part I teared up was when Brian called his wife telling her he loves her always.
That scene for me is the most heart breaking one!
The last scene in the movie, they compile up all the scene of Paul in all 6 movies and contribute to him. =)
This is movie is for him, for Paul!

If you guys haven't watch the movie, please do go and watch.
Not only because of speeding cars and cool stunts, but also the movie remind us that family is important!

My fav quote!
'And what's small turn to a friendship and friendship turn into a bond.
And that bond will never be broken and that love will never get lost.' - See You Again lyrics.

Have fun watching the movie!
It's a really recommended movie! =)

Top 5 Home Made DIY Beauty Fixes

2/17/2015 10:36:00 pm

Hi Hi Guys! =D
On this week's post, I'm not the one who is writing, I'm collaborating with my awesome friend Fiza Malhotra who is going to guest blog about the top 5 home made DIY beauty fixes for yourself!

Just so you know, I also wrote a post on her blog, which will be out soon.
I will post the link here, once it's out =)
http://www.dasrockhaus.com/blog/how-to-stay-healthy-while-traveling

Who says you need to spend an exorbitant amount of money on beauty products when you can just use something from your pantry. Here's are my Top 5 home made DIY beauty fixes, from head to toe.

1. Honey Hair
What does it do: Smoothens hair and nourishes it to achieve a naturally healthier look. Bonus perk: It also naturally lightens your hair slightly.
Directions: Take one part honey to 1/2 part luke-warm water, mix well and simply apply to your entire head of hair. Leave for 30 mins and wash as normal.

2. Oatmeal Mask
What does it do: Smoothens your skin and takes away impurities. Best if used weekly.
Directions: Combine 1/4 cup hot—not boiling—water and 1/2 cup oatmeal. You can use the instant ones if you like but it will just a bit more mushy. Allow oatmeal to settle for 2 or 3 minutes.Mix in 1 tablespoons plain yogurt,1 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder and 1 small egg white.

3. Frozen Spoon
What does it do: Helps reduce your eyebags and dark circles under your eyes.
Directions: Always keep 2 spoons in your freezer. Take the spoons out for when you need them. Warm them up very slightly with your fingers if they're frosted. Rest the under side of the spoon on your eyes for a few minutes till it warms up to body temperature.

4. Lemon Water
What does it do: Aids your immune and digestive system. Plus perk: Glowy skin and weight loss.
Directions: Add a slice of lemon to your glass of warm water daily.

5. Baby Powder
What does it do: Prevents your feet from sweating and stinking.
Directions: Just sprinkle baby powder luxuriously into your shoes before putting them on.

Hope you enjoy these easy beauty fixes! What's yours?

Food is Love 2 ♥♥ 21/10/2014

12/10/2014 12:49:00 pm

Hi Hi!! =D
I'm back with a throwback food post!!
*Throw Confetti*

Before I start!
Hello December!!
Chirstmas is just around the corner =) *Fav Holiday ever*
Can't wait!! =D

I know there's a lot of food posts this year, but hey I'm a Penangnite ;)
Who loves food ♥

On the 21st of October =)
Another hang out with Nicole and LerkChieh , of course with my food buddies =D
Nicole just came back from Hong Kong around that time, and she was really missing the Hong Kong food.
Kept on telling us how good the food is. Blah blah blah ;D
And she even found a place for Hong Kong style breakfast in Georgetown.

So we went there for Breakkie!!
The place is called Triois Canon Cafe, Chulia Street, Georgetown, Penang.
The price is quite reasonable, so is worth a try.

Menu =) [Sorry for a bit blurness]

A very Hong Kong styled interior.
That sleepy face!! Hahahaha =D

I ordered [if I do remember it correctly] B.L.T. for RM6.50 a set.
A reasonable price right?
With 3 smoked bacon, garden fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes on a toasted bagel. Served with coffee or tea. Yummss~
Add cheese for RM1
♥♥
Next, a new hot store was opened quite a while ago in Gurney Paragon G floor, which is Caffe Bene.
Is a Korean Dessert place.

And here's how to eat their dessert.
Bingsu : which is like ice kacang, shaved ice with toppings and on top with whip cream or ice cream.
It comes in this huge bowl, that I thought we couldn't finish it.
We ordered a green tea flavour.
I'm not a huge fan of green tea. But I still can manage it. =)
But it's good, really good especially there's all kinds of nuts inside! =D
♥♥
Another speciality in their store is waffles.
Even though the serving is so so small, the price is just too 'pretty'!!
For my opinion, try once and that's enough.
With the gelato on top, I don't really like it.
Cause they are too sweet for me ><!!
But the waffles is good! ♥
Then after all that, brunch and desserts.
We went around and did some shopping.
Walk around, digested.
And off to Sushi Zanmai for tea =D
Ordered sushi ♥♥
Then we went out, head over to a cafe, cause I don't want to head home yet, since it's still early.
Wheeler's Cafe in Love Lane.
See those mugs!!
Cute♥♥

Upstairs.
They even have a dart machine for customers to play.
Menu =)
Psst : They don't sell much stuff, so there's not much choices *shake head*
We only want a light dinner, so we ordered a Tiramisu Cake.
In my opinion, there's too much alcohol in it.
The alcohol taste is covering the other flavour. =/
Snoopy is cute =D ♥

This is a cup of Mocha that Nicole ordered.
Then we were just craving of wanting to bite some snacks.
So we ordered some popcorn chicken.
Their chili sauce is amazing!
Very Thai chili sauce =D
While eating, we were playing with this game.
If you guys do watch Running Man, then you guys will know.
All you have to do is to put the knifes into the barrel.
But in one wrong move, you will send the pirate fly up high! And you lose. =D
I think is call a Lucky Pop-Up Pirate. [something like that]
We used the cute cups to drinks =D
I never had a selfie in a long time.
Time to post one ;)
♥♥
Maybe not one :P
