Creameal @ Jln Phuah Hin Leong

In this week's post, I'm going to write about a cafe that I have visited when I was in Penang.
It's a fairly new cafe, that opened this year.
And I went mainly for the waffle.
Cause well you guys know, I love my waffles~ ♥

And so, I "kind of" made my friend to bring me there just to try out their waffles.

Ice creams here is Creameal are all handcrafted.
I tried the Peanut Butter and the Earl Grey Lavender ice creams.
Both taste were strong!
I prefer the Peanut Butter one, cause I also love my peanut butter.
But my friend prefers the Earl Grey Lavender.
They have different kinds of ice creams everyday.
Still, I believe that the famous ice cream flavours will be there.
If you guys don't know what to choose, just ask to try it out and then only make a decision.
Okay, for only RM11.90.
We get 2 pieces of handmade waffles, and also 2 scoops of handcrafted ice creams of our choice.
The waffles are different from the ones from Brown Pocket (which was the best waffle [for me] in Penang)
The waffles from Creameal are much more thicker and bigger in size, and also crunchier and crispier compared to the one from Brown Pocket.
This is definitely up to your own taste.
I like both types of waffles.
But, if I really must choose, *OMG I don't know either!*
I have to say the ones from Creameal.
It's just that these are much more fluffier.
I like it!
So that's it for today's post.
Go check Creameal out in FB!
When I'm back in Penang, I know for sure that I'll go back to this tiny little waffle shop, just for my delicious waffles! =)

The Spectrum Now Festival

Hi Everyone!!

If you guys follow me on Instagram, you guys may know that now, currently I'm in Australia for Uni!
But I'm here for like 2 weeks earlier before my class starts.
So I got bored~
My cousin who is so excited about this festival, which I don't even know about.
Asked me to go with her, and I did.
The Spectrum Now Festival is free and open to the public.
We don't have festivals like that in Malaysia, so it's a first for me to see the lights, all brightly lid, it's just so pretty!
There's even a live band singing on stage, people dancing on the grass, a bit high.
And stall around selling different kinds of food!
My cousin was telling me that this cake is quite well-known.
And told me to give it a go.
Strawberry and Watermelon Cake from Black Star Pastry.
When I heard the name I was like 'urgh', sound weird, does it even taste good?
But after one bite, I can tell you that I love it! ♥♥
It's so refreshing with the watermelon inside.
And also I love how they decorate the cake with edible flowers!
Plus, it's pink! ♥♥
Then after having the cake, we walked around, and went to the other section of stalls.
Just to look around, and what did you know.
My cousin saw something that she wanted to try!
Mini ice cream burgers!
And so we ordered them in the end! =D
Mine is with Lychee ice cream, and hers is with Sesame ice cream!
To make it look more like a burger they added some red bean paste, to represent the patty of the burger.
It's so cute and small and delicious.
The bun is deep fried, and since it was made it out fresh, we were eating the burger feeling hot and cold at once!

And I forgotten to add that this is the entrance to the festival.
Like what?!
Is so pretty!! ♥♥
It is made up of flower lights!

I just couldn't let it go, so I have to take a few snaps with these pretty flower lights!
Top : Debenhams
Shorts : Uniqlo
Bag : Pierre Cardin

I had tons of fun!
And it's a great exposure to see the Australia's culture for sure.
Tell me what do you guys think! =)

Have Bra-Blems? How to Find the Perfect Fit!

Hi Gals!

I am back with another how-to post!
I recently discovered ThirdLove and thought it would be fun and helpful to bring you all the ultimate guide to fix all your bra-blems.
ThirdLove is a lingerie company that focuses on amazing fitting bras!

Since great fitting clothes are essential in putting together an outfit, isn't a great fitting bra just as important?

Have you ever had an uncomfortable bra situation?
Well I have, and is very annoying when the strap of the bra slipping down my shoulder, and I always have to pull them up to the right place, also very unpleasant to see in public.

To save your bra-blems, I have a few tips here for you!

Before all else, how to put on a bra.
Wait, what?!
I'm sure you all know how to put on a bra.
But, do you really know how to put on a bra the correct way?
These are the correct way of putting a bra on!

Now here are some solutions to your Bra-Blems!
1. Slipping Straps
When those troublesome straps are giving you the slip, follow these quick and easy tips.
  • Tighten the straps. (seems obvious) But as we wear a bra, the straps starts to stretch out. So I recommend to tighten your straps about once a month.
  • If that doesn't work, it might be the time to explore a different bra style. Usually Full and Semi Coverage, and Convertible bras have the narrowest set straps which help keep them on your shoulders. Balconet and Plunge bras will have wider set straps, so if you have narrow or sloping shoulders, the strap issue can be exaggerated with these styles.
2. Band Riding Up
Is your bra band riding up in the back? Here your fix!
  • It's time to buy a smaller band size so that you have a comfortable fit. Remember, when you get a smaller band size, you need to go one size bigger in the cup.
  • You'll know you're in the right band size when you can slip two fingers underneath the back of the band. The band should be snug on the loosest hook, so when your bra stretches out you can continue to tighten it.
3. Straps Digging In
This is a common issue that causes women wanting to rip their bras off the second they walk in the house at the end of the day.
  • Instead of the straps doing the heavy lifting, it should be the bra band that should be doing most of the work.
  • Chances are yours is too big or has stretched out to the point that you're not getting the support you deserve.
  • Try buying one band size smaller.
Remember: When you get a smaller band size, you need to go one size bigger in the cup. Same tip as above!

4. Quad-Boob
In case you are wondering, this doesn't mean that you have four boobs.
But it may look that way when you wear a really tight shirt.
It's okay, here's the tip! ;)
  • Time to trade in a bigger cup, let's give'em some space to breathe. Up a size in the cup!
5. Side Boob
We may spot some celebrities side boob on the red carpet, but I have to tell you, it's not a good look.
  • Your breast spills out of the side of the cup is due to the cup is too small.
  • Eliminating side spillage is easy! Just size up in the cup and size down in the band.
  • Another possibility is that your band is not tight enough, causing the wire sit on your breast.
  • Size down in the band and up in the cup!
Tip: A comfortable band should pull the wire back and allow your breast to sit into the cup properly.

6. Cup Gaping
This is also a fairly common issue for women.
Remember this! "They're Sisters, Not Twins"
  • First try tightening the straps. (Sometimes that all you need to do)
  • If that doesn't work. Try going down a cup size. It may be that your cup is just a little too big.
  • If your cup fits well, but there's still room at the top, try a Plunge or Push-up style. These cups are angled and tend to be cut a little smaller to reduce gaping!
Here are some fixes for your bra-blems that I hope that will be kept in mind!
Comment down below and tell me what you all had experience too!

KOSÉ SEKKISEI Special Edition Trial Kit Review

Hi Hi Gals!!! =D

Let's just get straight to the point, shall we?
I received a bag of Kose Sekkisei Special Edition Trial Kit for me to try it out!
And here is my opinion on these products! =)
Check it out!

The SEKKISEI Trial Kit includes these following products (from left to right):

  • Bihadagoyomi Mask (3pcs)
  • SEKKISEI White Liquid Wash (20ml)
  • SEKKISEI Lotion (100ml)
  • SEKKISEI Emulsion (70ml)
  • SEKKISEI Clear Whitening Mask (10g)
  • Exclusive Setsuko pouch (Kimono Style or City Chic Style)

Before I start, let me share with you all about KOSÉ SEKKISEI.
SEKKISEI products are designed and made to restore translucence to women’s skin for over 30 years!

Specially-designed for skin translucency, SEKKISEI products harness the power of Oriental Herb extracts, which are carefully-selected from about 100 different plants, creating a harmonious and skin-loving formula that gives women brighter, even-toned and moisturised skin.

A trio of oriental plant extracts: Coix Seed (Chinese Pearl Barley), Melothria (White Lotus) and Angelica work diligently to keep your skin in perfect condition, protected from the harsh environment.

Fall in love with 5 star products from SEKKISEI this year, which come together in its special edition trial kit! Perfect for first time users who wants to experience the difference in SEKKISEI products themselves!

SEKKISEI White Liquid Wash (140ml/ RM131.40)
Cleanse skin without stripping away moisture. Taurine-based cleansing agents leave skin clean and hydrated; while Rubus Suavissmus Extract enhance skin dullness and soothes UV damage. Skin is restored to its optimal condition, ready for the next skin step!

How to use: Dispense 1 to 2 pumps onto your palm and add water then gently rub both palms together until lather is formed. Massage the lather onto face then wash it off thoroughly.
Verdict: I like the slight flowery scent in this product, not too much for my sensitive skin. And also it is really easy to use, it really does on what it said on the product description. It doesn't dry out my skin, and it feel really refreshing after washing it out!

SEKKISEI Lotion (200ml/ RM180.20 | 360ml/ RM275.60)
It's has been rated in the top 10 skin care products in almost every beauty website and magazine!

It contains ingredients carefully-selected out of 100 types of oriental plants.
Used as a toner or a mask, the fine-textured hydrating lotion balances out skin’s moisture levels, prevents dullness, soothes redness and more.

How to use:  Pour lotion generously onto a cotton pad and pat gently on face.
Verdict: There's a strong alcohol scent to it. So, my poor sensitive skin reacted quick! It became red really fast due to the alcohol. So I do recommend not to use it, if you have sensitive skin like I do.

SEKKISEI Emulsion (140ml/RM191.80)
This quick-absorbing moisturiser works deep into skin, preventing freckles, dark spots and dryness.
Ingredients like Inula Britanica Flower, Chinese Pearl Barley, Paeonia Albiflora Root, Melothria Heterophylla and Angelica reveal a more translucent complexion.

How to use: Apply 1 to 2 pumps on a cotton pad and sweep over skin.
Verdict: It's a bit oily for me, especially on my T-zone. Then it starts to itch because of my also sensitive skin. (So sad having combination skin) On the plus side, my skin does absorbs really quickly, just like what it said. But I think is too heavy for us oily and in addition of sensitive skin!

SEKKISEI Clear Whitening Mask (80g/RM94.30)
A gentle peel-off mask that removes dullness and dead skin cells, brightens and hydrates at the same time!
Chinese Quince extract inhibits sebum production, while a blend of oriental plant extracts deliver supreme whitening benefits.
Nano-sized black powder allows the mask to spread easily.

How to use: Spread it across your face (avoid eyes, eyebrows, hairline, & lips area). Once it's dry, gently peel it off inwards from the outer areas of your face.
Verdict: Whenever I hear about peel off masks, it just doesn't appeal to me. Cause whenever the mask is dry and I have to peel off the mask, it just makes my skin red. So I rather use a clay mask or a sheet mask, so that it doesn't irritate my skin. But this mask is gentle enough to not make my skin become too red, ( there's a bit of redness, but not as much as other products), plus it helps to remove my sebum and also some blackheads out easily and effectively!

Bihadagoyomi Mask
It is a compressed dry mask sheet that works perfectly with the SEKKISEI Lotion.
It gives instant hydration for our skin.

How to use: Place a bihadagoyomi mask into the cap and pour SEKKISEI Lotion until the mask tablet puffs up. Place on face for 10 minutes and notice instantly hydrated skin!

*Sorry for no pictures, had no time to take them cause I was busy with some personal matters

Verdict: I find this mask so cool and fascinating! It's just so unique! I mean is as small as a pill, then after soaking it with the lotion if just puff up!
Tip: Might want to put lesser amount of lotion especially for sensitive skin like me, due to the strong alcohol from the lotion!
After it puffs up, it became a sheet mask (like the one we normally get from the stores, it's much thinner, but it's still strong enough to not be rip apart) and it works great for me. Secondly it says it's for instant hydration! My skin feels really hydrated and amazing! I do recommend for you guys to try it out, especially if you guys need a extra boost of moisture for your skin :)

Overall View:
I find this kit is perfect for beginners to try the products out. So yes, do give it a go! =)
Also, the trial kit comes with a Setsuko pouch that can be choose from two designs which are the Kimono style or Chic style.
Both designs I find it cute and the size is just perfect enough to bring it out for travelling!
