Birthday

Reunion & Surprise! ♥

9/18/2015 12:06:00 am

Hi Hi!!! =D
Let's go back to 28th August 2015 for a moment, shall we?

I have to update this, cause
1. The food here is so good!
2. Is my primary school friends reunion, again!
3. I got a small pre-birthday surprise! =D

Now, I got all the main points out there, let's start!
It was a sudden reunion. And since everyone can make it on that particular time.
We went for it! =D
I suggested 43 Cafe, and my mom was pushing me to be the lab mouse and try out the place first.
So, in the end we went there!

I was late a bit, so the others ordered first.
They ordered most of their most recommended.
Pasta, dry age pork, burger, satay, salad and ice cream.
Yea. We ordered just enough for 5 people. =)
The pasta is very rich and creamy, how most of us like it!
Satay was good too!
Minimum order have to be 5, so we each get to eat one! =D
I love their dry age pork the most!
It's so juicy and tender, and gosh!
It's so so good!!!
Group pic before each of us separated. ♥♥
Then the girls wanted to head out for desserts.
They were exchanging body language to one and other.
Too bad I saw it, I was thinking that, what did they want to do that I don't know, especially they want to take separate cars to go to the destination.
To act like I don't know anything, I just go with the flow and just act with whatever weird reason they came out with hahaa =D

Head over to CoffeeSmith.
Ordered Hot Chocolate =D
Then Sab came in with a plate with 2 pieces of cake.
Hahaha I knew it!
I was seriously laughing!
Gosh I was so grateful and thankful to these girls, seriously! =)
Even though my birthday still have a few days left, I'm just so grateful and happy to have these girls as my friends =)
Took some pics and also some poloroid pictures too!♥♥
These girls that I have known them since my primary school years.
For almost 10 years of friendship =)
Thank you all for the small surprise, even though it's a sudden celebration.
But I really do cherish it, and absolutely feeling grateful for it!

Love Me!! XOXO ♥♥♥♥

Brunch

Jam Cafe│Cafe Muscolo│Street Art Cafe

7/01/2015 11:12:00 pm

Hey readers =)
Welcome back to another foodie post. #yolo
Penangites being Penangites as usual.

18th June 2015
Went out with Lc and Nicole on the same day but different time for food!
We did met up together at QB during the afternoon.
Me and LC met up at a cafe near USM which is called Jam Cafe.
It's located at Sg. Dua housing area facing the main road.
I find their set lunch for RM11.50 that served main course and drink, is quite affordable and worth it.
But it is only available at 11'30am - 2'30pm on weekdays.
This place serves different kind of main courses then the normal western food restaurants that we known by heart.
Drinks!!
If I'm not wrong I ordered honey lemon tea.
And LC ordered some lychee drink that she approve that is good. =)
LC ordered the set lunch, while I ordered one main course ala carte.
She also added one bowl of mushroom soup.
Normal normal, happy that it is not the mushroom soup from the can.
Jam cafe is famous for it's Crispy Potato Skin for RM4.90
It is really addicting as a snack.
When it was served, me and LC couldn't stop ourselves from eating it.
It was that good. =)
Of course it was deep fried, so there's a few pieces is a bit burnt.
But overall it is good!
Dip it with the sauce, it's the perfect combo!
LC ordered carbonara pasta.
Which is quite rich in the sauce and is good, but I still prefer the DCOVA's carbonara!
I did mention that they served different kind of main courses.
And one of them is Beer Chicken Drumstick for RM12.90 which I find them unique.
You can taste the beer only on the skin of the chicken and the meat of the chicken is just plain.
But at the drumstick area, the beer taste is stronger a bit.
I was a bit disappointed by not tasting any beer in the chicken meat.
But it's something new I get to try it out.
After having fun walking around in QB and shop a bit with both girls LC and Nicole.
Nicole and I head down to Georgetown to Kampung Malabar for a early dinner.
I never heard of this cafe before and I have no idea how Nicole was able to find out or even heard of it.
But taadddaaahhhhh!!
We are here, Cafe Muscolo!!
What makes this cafe so special is that, they sell delicious healthy food in affordable price.
I personally find the menu very cute and colourful.
We were the only customers at that moment.
So we were able to enjoy the peace and quietness.
Which I do love it, the whole atmosphere is just so comfortable.
Foods arrived!
I ordered Green Crush for RM 12.90
It is basically fruit salad, and it's filled with all my favourites!
Apples, cherry tomatoes, raisins and salad.
The dressing is not mayonnaise!! Which I got shock after the first bite.
It wasn't rich, but a cold light taste with a hint of peach or mango.
After that we realised that it is yogurt!
Yummss, great combination! =D
Nicole ordered the Creamy Ebiko Pasta, RM16.90 which she really loves it after the first bite.
Seriously, *after first bite* "This is so good!!" *second bite*
It's creamy and really rich. The whole plate is filled with ebiko so ebiko lovers will love this dish to death. Hahaha
We still have time after our early dinner.
So we head down to China Lane and went over to the cafe that I always wanted to go try.
Street Art Cafe!!
The cafe is smaller than I thought it will be.
There's only like 5 small tables for customers and it already filled up the whole cafe.
Street Art cafe is well known for it's fried ice cream.
It's not the China's deep fried ice cream that we know, this is fried ice cream made right in front of you.
And this is how it looks like.
We ordered the mango flavoured and they use real fruits to make them.
Great! No artificial stuff inside my ice cream.
Nicole was commenting that the milk taste was a bit strong, which is kinda true, but I'm fine with it.
Overall it's good, it's not as soft as the normal ice cream and we are able to taste the little bits of mangoes inside. =)
We also added nata de coco as our topping with chocolate syrup, cause that is my favourite kind of topping to eat! =D
Nicole wanted Chocolate Lave cake, which is not really that good compare to the Haven Habour's one.
They did not reheat the cake.
So it's cold and the chocolate doesn't ooze out like it was suppose to, thus it's not really that nice.
Yea, that's all I can say it's not really as nice as I hope it would be.
But for RM 6.90 I'm not surprise to get this kind of food.
And of course gonna end the post with a smile.
Hope you guys are just as hungry as I am.
I really do want to go back and munch on those food again. ><

Dinner

Uncle Jang @ Tanjung Tokong

5/21/2015 02:02:00 pm

Hi guys!!
Now with my sem break happening, I tried to find time and places to go instead of rotting at home on my bed.
Even though it's quite a good idea.

There's this new Korean restaurant called Uncle Jang opened in our small little Penang Island, it was quite well-known i KL.
And now it's here!!

I've been wanting to try this since it opened here.
And now finally I had the chance. =D

Uncle Jang sells Dak-Galbi which is stir fried vegetables with some chicken.
We get to choose the falvours, and the price is different by RM1.
We also add-on ramen, rice cakes and cheese!!
Cheese is a must to add!!

A-la-carte section!
We added Kimchi pancake, which in the end is a little bit too much for us. =0!
So, vege, chicken meat and rice cakes goes into the pan. =D
Cook, cook, cook, stir, stir, stir, fry, fry, fry =D
Looks Delish!! =D
Then ramen is added =D
After that cheese is added, and we are done!! =D
It was delicious.
Okay it was my first time eating Dak-Galbi.
So, it was quite good for a first timer like me =D
I'm glad that I added the ramen in. =D

Our yummy Kimchi pancake =)
Owh ya, I didn't mention who I went out with.
#noedit pic with this busy girl who found time for me! =D
Yea, this is a small short post!
Hope you guys like it! =)
See you guys next week =D

Dinner

BBQ with Buddies

5/13/2015 12:41:00 am

Hi Hi guys!! =D

I'm back with another outing with my school course mates.
First thing first is why I rarely mention stuff with my course mates, is because, well I need them to know that I have a blog.
And now they know.
Let's began!

We had a BBQ outing/ party(?) with my buddies a.k.a the potatoes!! =D
Why potatoes?
Hahaha is an inside joke. =) *sshhhh*
So, in this gang of potatoes, I have more guy friends instead of girls.
Just to clarify, these guys are the best guy friends I have ever had!
And I care for every one of them. =)
They brought me laughs and happy tears with their everyday jokes and pranks and also stunts!
Which I appreciate every single day.
And also, even though they are playful, sometimes childish guys, when things are serious, they are the most greatest gentlemen ever!
Taking care of us girls wherever we are.

On the 8th of May.
Most of us, finished our final exam on that day.
From the beginning it's the guys idea to have the BBQ party.
Too bad not all of us were there that day. =(

We reached at around 6'45pm.
The fire wasn't even started yet. And the problem is that it couldn't even start.
So the guys asked us girls to eat some salad which was made beforehand.
And called us to wait.
And we did. =0!
Here's the BBQ place.
The salad made by the guys =D
And since is a BBQ, sausages is a must! =D
But, small problem is that, they guys bought a bit too much! =0!!
They even made marinated chicken, fish, and also marshmallow =D
The guys who are trying their butts out on how to start the fire.
While we girls were waiting, we just cruise around the place.
While I took some pics =D
This is how long we were waiting for them to start the fire, with the sun is still up, until the sky is dark =D
Appreciate how hard they worked!
 And the BBQ finally started!!
Chicken, sausages corn, marshmallows!! Yuummsss!!!
And this is how they have to look at the food, there's no light beside the BBQ place, so they have to use their phone while BBQ-ing.
The food the guys made were really awesome!
And this is just how much pictures I took, cause my hands were getting oily and I don't want to get my camera dirty.
Acceptable excuse? =)
The whole night was awesome!
Filled with laughters and jokes.
And I'm glad that I met these bunch of potatoes!!
Thank you for making my life filled with so much laughter and joy!
I just couldn't thank you guys enough for this. =)
Thanks guys!!

Even from the very beginning of the BBQ till the end, all the works and the cooking the cleaning is all done by the guys.
All they asked us is to wait and go eat.
I do feel bad for not helping, but I was scared of butting in of their whole group work thing.
And if I do go in and help, they will be asking us to stay aside and just eat. lol
That's how great they are! =D
